Yes, I was able to connect with Michael by telephone. I spoke to him in Ukrainian as broken as possible...and he spoke English as broken as possible. So we email ..its easier. Apparently, his grandfather was born in 1906 and his name is Andrey Yerema. Our grandfather is Dmetro Yerema. Our grandfather's dad was Panko and Palena Yerema. His grandfather's parents were Petro and Demitria Yerema. So it's possible that our Greatgrandfather's were brothers, ie Panko and Petro. That is the information that I received from Michael and I guess with Geneology and birth records from Ukraine, maybe we could confirm this..

We live in Yekaterinburg, Russia, have ukrainian origins (our grandparents moved from
Chernigov to Siberia after World War II), and (funny) we used to think
that we're unique with this family name in the world, so it was really
nice to know that it's not true.
